Kate Corcoran ’00 was a standout on the women’s basketball team from 1996-00 in which the Bulldogs won three conference championships and made three trips to the NCAA Tournament in her four years on the team.

She was named to the All-Freedom Conference First-Team twice (1999 and 2000), was named the Lehigh Valley Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (LVAIAW) Player of the Year in 2000, was named to the WBCA Mid-Atlantic Region First-Team and WBCA Honorable-Mention All-American as a senior.

Corcoran scored 1,097 career points which currently ranks 17th all-time and is also still ranked among the all-time leaders in field goals made (413 – 16th), three-pointers made (143 – 3rd), three-point shooting percentage (.328 – T-9th), free throw percentage (.776 – 7th), assists (231 – 15th), steals (243 – 5th), and blocked shots (72 – T-10th).

Following her graduation in 2000, Corcoran went on to have stints as an assistant coach with Ursinus College for one year, Cabrini College for three years, and PSU-Berks for two years.  While at Cabrini she also served as the Assistant to the Athletic Director and facilities director where she moved on to PSU-Berks serving as the Senior Woman Administrator, Compliance Officer, and Sports Information Director until 2010 and now works at Rosemont College as the Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator.

She earned her Master’s in Business Administration and Certificate in Strategic Management for Women from Rosemont College in 2012.
