Ian Hauze ’06 was a standout baseball player for four years with the Bulldogs graduating in 2006 as a TV/Film major.

Hauze accolades are endless and among the most decorated in team history. During his four years as the starting shortstop he led the Bulldogs to four consecutive MAC Freedom Championships, one NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship, and to the team’s first and only appearance in the NCAA Division III College World Series in 2003.

He was named All-MAC Freedom First-Team three times, was the MAC Freedom Player of the Year twice, named ABCA All-Region First-Team twice and Third-Team once, and All-ECAC South Region First-Team twice.

In addition Hauze is one of just two players in team history to earn ABCA First- Team All-American honors and was named an ABCA All-American twice in his career including first-team as a sophomore in 2003 and second-team as a senior in 2005. He was also named to the D3baseball.com All-Decade Team (2000-10) at shortstop.

He is the all-time leader in several statistical categories including hits (246), runs scored (188), RBIs (174), and assists (501). He is also ranked fourth all-time with a .386 batting average, third all-time with 53 doubles, and third all-time with 22 home runs.
