Center Valley, PA (October 7, 2009) - The DeSales University field hockey and women's soccer teams are teaming up this month to help raise money for breast cancer as they "Play for a Cure".

During the field hockey game on Thursday, October 8th and the women's soccer game on Saturday, October 17th, fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game in support of breast cancer.  At each of those games t-shirts will be sold for all fans, while students and members of the DeSales community will have the opportunity to buy t-shirts for $10 in the DUC anyday from October 5th - 16th from 11 AM thru 1 PM.

All proceeds will be from the t-shirt sales will be donated to the Lehigh Valley Breast Health Services.
