Center Valley, PA (June 30, 2009) - Former DeSales University standout and 10-time All-American Gina Lucrezi '05 finished in an impressive fifth place over the weekend at the USA and North American - Central American - Caribbean Mountain Running Championships held at Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, NH.

Lucrezi was just two minutes behind the first place finisher, Christine Lundy of Sausalito, CA, as Lucrezi crossed the finish line in 59:16.  The top finisher automatically qualifies for the US team for the upcoming fall season.  Lucrezi does have one more race this summer as she attempts to qualify for the US national team.  The US team will compete at the 25th World Mountain Running Championships being held in September in Valchiavenna, Italy's Northern Lombardy Region.
