LaDuke Named Freedom Conference Player of the Week

Senior Emily LaDuke moved into fourth place on the all-time scoring list on Saturday.

Annville, PA (September 28, 2009) – Senior Emily LaDuke (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) of the DeSales University women's soccer team was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.

LaDuke scored one goal and added one assist to lead DeSales to a win in its only game of the week, 2-1 over Alvernia University on Saturday. LaDuke scored her goal on a PK early in the game and set-up the final goal with an excellent thru pass to the corner leading to a header for the game-winner. With those three points, LaDuke moved into fourth place on the all-time scoring list at DeSales.

The women's soccer team returns to action on Tuesday, September 29^th when they host Lebanon Valley College in a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
