Center Valley, PA (March 16, 2010) – Junior Lori Lidlow (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) was honored on Tuesday being named to the D3hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team as announced by the organization on its web site.
Lidlow had a terrific junior season, her first with the Bulldogs after transferring from Lebanon Valley College this summer. She led DeSales to a 19-10 record this season and to its third straight Freedom Conference title. The Bulldogs also advanced to the NCAA Tournament, upsetting Ithaca College on the Bombers home court in the opening round before falling to Williams College in the second round.
Lidlow average a team-high 18.1 points per game and also had a team-high 67 steals to go along with 74 assists (second on the team). During the year she scored her 1,000th career point (combined with her totals at LVC), was named to the All-Freedom Conference First-Team, and was named the Freedom Conference playoffs Most Valuable Player after averaging 22.0 points and 4.5 assists in the two playoff games.
