Bethlehem, PA (April 10, 2010) – The DeSales University women's track & field team continued its outdoor track & field season on Friday and Saturday competing at the Coach “P” Open hosted around the corner at Moravian College.

Sophomore Ashley Wade (Hackensack, NJ/Paramus Catholic) was among the top finishers taking second in the shot put (10.30m). Senior Samantha Ward (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus) was eighth in the pole vault (3.20m), junior Allison Kurowski (Gouldsboro, PA/North Pocono) was seventh in the triple jump (10.02m), and junior Emily Rau (Westmont, NJ/Haddon Township) was third in the high jump (1.45m).

Sophomore Cassie Harmon (Charlton, MA/Shepherd Hill Regional) was sixth in the 5,000-meters (20:24.15) to round out the leaders.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday and Sunday next weekend when they host the CTC Outdoor Championships.
