Annville, PA, (April 19, 20010) – The Middle Atlantic Conferences released its 2009-10 Winter Academic honor roll and 27 DeSales University student athletes were honored. Included in the honorees were seven from the men's indoor track & field team, nine from the women's indoor track & field team, five from the men's basketball team, and six from the women's basketball team. The MAC recognizes all sophomore or higher class standing student-athletes who carry a 3.20 GPA or higher and compete in varsity athletics at their institution for the entire fall season.

The student-athletes with the highest GPA among their teams are senior Kelly Magrann (Sinking Spring, PA/Holy Name) of the women's basketball team with a 3.97, junior Emily Rau (Westmont, NJ/Haddon Township) of the women's indoor track & field team with a 3.87, senior Justin Cuga (Newark, DE/Salesianum) of the men's indoor track & field team with a 3.92, and sophomore Bob Zanneo (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) of the men's basketball team with a 3.78.
