Allentown, PA (April 2, 2010) – The DeSales University women's track and field team continued its outdoor season, traveling cross-town to compete at the Muhlenberg College Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Among the top finishers for the Bulldogs was senior Samantha Ward (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus), taking second in the pole vault (3.20m). Senior Beth Malseed (Claymont, DE/Archmere Academy) was second in the 5,000-meter run (21:04.44) and senior Alessandra LaMastro (Flanders, NJ/Pope John XXIII) was seventh in the 1,500-meters (5:16.26).

DSU returns to action on Saturday, April 10th when they travel to the Moravian College Invitational.
