MAC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
Annville, PA (May 11, 2010) – Senior Kevin Walker (Wilmington, DE/Salesianum) and junior Whit Bruemmer (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) were each named to the All-MAC Men's Lacrosse First-Team as announced on Tuesday afternoon and as voted on by the coaches in the MAC.
Walker makes his second straight appearance on the All-Conference Team after earning Second-Team honors last season, while Bruemmer makes his first appearance on the team.
Walked enjoyed another standout season as the Bulldogs face-off specialist. He picked up a single-season record 156 ground balls, ranking second in the MAC in ground balls per game and won 63.1 percent of his face-offs, setting a school-record with 210 face-off wins. Walker wasn't just a face-off specialist though as he ranked third on the team in scoring with 32 goals and 14 assists for 46 points.
Bruemmer makes his first appearance on the All-Conference team after a tremendous year offensively leading the team in scoring with 49 goals and 18 assists for 67 points. He ranked second in the MAC in both goals per game and points per game and his goal and point totals were the second most in a season at DeSales. Bruemmer tallied three game-winning goals and had nine man-up goals during the season.
