Center Valley, PA, (August 25, 2010) – The DeSales University men's cross country team has been selected eighth in the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Mid-East Regional Pre-Season poll as voted on by the coaches in the region and as released early this week.
The Bulldogs return a strong nucleus from last season's ninth place finishing team in the NCAA Division III Mid-East Regional race, the best-ever finish for DeSales. DSU is second highest ranked MAC team, behind Elizabethtown College, who took home fourth place. This year's NCAA Regional race will be held out in Pittsburgh, PA at Carnegie Mellon University.

DeSales begins its season on Friday, September 3rd when they travel cross-town to Lehigh University for the Lehigh Valley Championships.
