Center Valley, PA (February 23, 2011) – It is very tough to repeat, even harder to have the words three-peat attached to your team, but to four-peat, that is very rare in the world of college athletics but the DeSales University women's basketball team has a chance to do so as they enter the Freedom Conference playoffs this week as the three-time defending conference champions and looking for a shot at the impossible.
The Bulldogs (17-8, 10-4 Freedom) ended the regular season tied for first with Manhattanville College and King's College and after all the tiebreakers were broken, ended up as the #2 seed and will host the third seeded Lady Monarchs, while the Valiants earned the top seed for the second straight year and will host Misericordia University, the fourth seed, in the other semifinal. Game time in Billera Hall on Wednesday night will be at 6:00 pm.
