Lori Lidlow of the DeSales University women's basketball team was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon for the second time this season.
Lidlow continued her strong play down the stretch averaging 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game leading the Bulldogs to two critical wins last week and helping DSU move into a tie for first place in the Freedom Conference standings with four games to play. She had 26 points in both wins this week and tied her career-high with eight rebounds in the win over Manhattanville. On the week she shot a perfect 15-for-15 from the free throw line. On the year, Lidlow is now averaging 17.4 points per game for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Misericordia University for another critical game with the Cougars who along with King's College are tied with DeSales for first place in the Freedom Conference standings. Tip is set for 6:00 pm.
