Center Valley, PA (May 4, 2011) – The DeSales University baseball team begins its quest for a Freedom Conference Championship and an automatic invitation to the NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday when the Bulldogs enter the double elimination tournament as the #2 seed in the Freedom Conference Playoffs.

DeSales is making its 12th appearance in the MAC/Freedom Conference playoffs since joining the conference in 1997-98. The Bulldogs have taken home the title eight times (98, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 08) and own a 29-7 record all-time in the MAC/Freedom post-season.
