All Century Men's Cross Country Team

Center Valley, PA (December 14, 2012) – The Middle Atlantic Conference is celebrating its 100th birthday throughout this year and last week revealed the first of its All-Century teams, releasing the fall sports teams to the public and former Bulldog, Mike Vidumsky, was honored the MAC Men's Cross Country All-Century Team (2003-11).

Teams were voted on by fans during the fall semester. Those votes were combined with votes from sports information directors at participating schools within the conference. The teams are broken into four eras spanning the 100-year history of the MAC including the years from 1912-1974, 1975-1992, 1993-2002, and 2003-2011.  The Bulldogs joined the MAC for the 1997-98 season.

Vidumsky was a standout on the men's cross country team from 2002-04.  He finished among the top eight at the MAC Championships in each of his three years competing including an eighth place finish in 2002 and a second place finish in both 2003 and 2004.

Vidumsky also enjoyed success at the NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships where he finished 19th in 2002, won the regional championship race in 2003, and was third in 2004.  He advanced to the NCAA Division III National Championships twice in 2003 and 2004 and earned All-American honors each time with a 14th place finish in 2003 and an 11th place finish in 2004.
