MAC All Century Women's Cross Country Team

Center Valley, PA (December 14, 2012) – The Middle Atlantic Conference is celebrating its 100th birthday throughout this year and last week revealed the first of its All-Century teams, releasing the fall sports teams to the public and former Bulldog, Gina Lucrezi, was honored the MAC Women's Cross Country All-Century Team (2003-11).

Teams were voted on by fans during the fall semester. Those votes were combined with votes from sports information directors at participating schools within the conference. The teams are broken into four eras spanning the 100-year history of the MAC including the years from 1912-1974, 1975-1992, 1993-2002, and 2003-2011.  The Bulldogs joined the MAC for the 1997-98 season.

Lucrezi was a three-time All-American in women's cross country competing for the Bulldogs from 2001-04.  She won the MAC Individual cross country title three times including 2002, 2003, and 2004 and placed fourth in 2001 as a freshman.

She was also a standout performer at the NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships taking 12th as a freshman in 2001, fourth as a sophomore in 2002, third as a junior in 2003, and winning the Regional individual title as a senior in 2004.

Lucrezi qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships all four years and earned All-American honors three times (top 35 finish).  After placing 49th as a freshman, she posted finishes of 20th (2002), 29th (2003), and seventh (2004) her final three years of competition.
