Center Valley, PA (September 14, 2013) – The DeSales University men's soccer team scored all three goals in the first half en route to its second straight win, 3-0, over Immaculata University in a non-conference game on Saturday afternoon.
All three goals came in the span of 4:13 as senior
Brett Morris started the scoring taking control of a clear just outside the box and firing home his second goal of the season at 33:00.
Just 2:30 later freshman
Sterling Plank scored his first career goal as he scored off a rebound inside the box and just 1:43 after the Plank goal senior
Matt Metzler scored his first goal of the year, a beautiful header off a corner kick feed from freshman
Liam Hulse.
DSU finished with a 14-9 edge in shots and the Mighty Macs had a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks. Junior
Colin Sulpizio had five saves in between the pipes.
The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, September 19th when they host Marywood University in a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
