Kylie Honnick-Payne (Johnson City, NY) and senior
Veronica Wheeler (Yardley, PA) were each recognized for a second time this week on Wednesday being named the ECAC Player of the Week in their respective sports.
Wheeler was named the ECAC Metro Region Runner of the Week after winning the MAC Championship individual title for the second straight year with a 6K time of 21:54.2. Her time was 52 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
Honnick-Payne earns ECAC South Region Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading DSU to a 2-0 record scoring three goals and two assists helping the Bulldogs clinch the fourth and final MAC Freedom playoff spot. She had both goals in the playoff clinching win over King's College and added another goal and assist in the 4-0 win over Immaculata.
