McLaughlin joined Coach Crampton's staff in the Winter of 2024 graduating from Lee University with a degree in business adminstration.
He played two years of soccer at Cal State Bakersfield before transferring to Lee University and finishing his career at Lee.
McLaughlin was First-Team All-Conference twice, named CCA South Region First-Team, and First-Team All-GSC once. He was also named United Soccer Coaches Second-Team All-South Region and was a team captain.
McLaughlin is originally from Derry, Ireland where he played Internationally for Northern Ireland up until u18 and played in Northern Irish premiership for Glentoran fc and Institute FC.
