Povish was a standout player on the women's basketball team. At the time of her induction she ranked among the all-time leaders in several statistical categories including first in games played (121), second in scoring (1,564 points), fourth in rebounding (824), tied for eighth in blocked shots (72), third in field goals made (545), 10th in field goal percentage (.442), first in free throws made (474), and sixth in double-doubles (20). Povish received numerous honors including being named an NCAA Division III Fourth-Team All-American as a senior. She was named Female Athlete of the Year in 1988-89, named All-Region as a senior, named to the All-District 19 Team twice, and the All-EPAC First-Team once. Povish was also honored as the Lehigh Valley Most Outstanding athlete twice and finished her career as the ESAC Tournament Most Valuable Player and on the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional All-Tournament Team.
