Steiner got off to a terrific start to begin the season, batting .560 in the Bulldogs' six games last week during its spring break trip to Clermont, FL. She had at least one hit in each game and multiple hits in five of the six games. DSU posted a 4-2 record during the trip. Steiner scored nine times, knocked in five runs, and had two triples and a home run during the week.
