Intramural Sports
Intramurals are a great way to stay active with friends on campus. From flag football in the fall, indoor soccer and basketball in the winter, to various mini tournaments throughout the year, there’s always some healthy competition going on for you and your friends to join. Club Sports
DeSales University Club Sport’s manual will act as a guideline to assist student officers during the administration of their club. All club sport participants are expected to become familiar with this manual and comply with all of the guidelines and rules.
Each club sport at DeSales University is student organized and composed of current DeSales students. The success of each club sport program will depend on student leadership, interest, involvement and participation. Each club is formed, developed, governed and administered by the student membership of that particular club, while working with the Director of Club Sports.

Below are some established club sports at DeSales and information on them (in alphabetical order):
Rugby Club (M/W)
Founded in the fall of 2011 DeSales Men’s Rugby Club started by playing 7’s rugby until the club grew large enough to play the full fifteens version of the game. DeSales Rugby Club, now playing fifteens rugby, competes against other colleges and universities in the eastern Pennsylvania area. DSU Rugby is a division 3 rugby team currently in the application process to the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union. The club is open to any male student who wishes to play, no previous rugby experience is necessary. DeSales Rugby is a group of young men that work together to accomplish three goals. First, playing a high level of safe collegiate rugby. Second, the DeSales Rugby Club works to promote a strong sense of brotherhood between its members both on and off the field. Finally, the DSU Rugby team participates in many service events throughout the year. As members of DeSales Rugby we are more than teammates, we are brothers and part of the DeSales Rugby Family. Come out and join our family.
Men's Volleyball Club
The DeSales Men’s Volleyball Team is entering its 10th Season. We currently play in the Mid-Atlantic College Volleyball Conference (MACVC). We play in the North Division with other teams that include: West Chester, Kutztown, Penn State Berks, LCCC, Lehigh, Scranton, Lafayette, and Ursinus. We are a team that has members of all different abilities and looking to be both competitive and to teach the game to those looking to learn. DSU has hosted the conference championships four of the last six years.
