Hess led the Bulldogs to a 3-2 record including taking two of three from Arcadia in an important Freedom Conference series by batting .450 with three home runs and seven RBI’s on the week.  Hess started the week with a 3-for-5 effort in the loss at Scranton belting his first homer of the week and knocking in three RBI’s.  He finished the week hitting two home runs in the three-game series with Arcadia including the go-ahead round tripper in the win on Friday afternoon and a game-winning two-run shot in the top of the seventh to break a tie at four in the second game on Saturday afternoon.  For the season Hess is batting .328 with five home runs and 27 RBI’s.
