Burke was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week for the sixth time this season after leading DeSales to a 2-0 record last week as the Bulldogs clinched the #1 seed in the Freedom Conference playoffs with wins over two teams fighting for Freedom Conference playoff berths. On Wednesday she totaled 20 points, five rebounds and three steals in an 84-55 road win over the Aggies of Delaware Valley College and followed that performance with a 29-point, three steals effort in a 79-43 win over FDU-Florham in which she played just 25 minutes. For the week she averaged 24.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game while shooting 61.8 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three-point land. This season she is averaging 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 3.1 steals per game while shooting 45.8 percent from the field, 44.7 percent from outside the arc and 84.0 percent from the free throw line.
