Lapinski concluded his career in terrific fashion averaging 18.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in the Bulldogs NCAA Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games. In the Sweet 16 win over UMASS-Dartmouth he had 14 points and six rebounds and in the loss to F&M on Saturday in the Elite Eight he tallied a game-high 23 points and also pulled six boards for the Bulldogs.
