Steiner had an impressive start to her season posting wins in all four matches she played. She did not drop a game in the win over Immaculata winning 6-0, 6-0 in singles and teaming with sophomore Christine Petrilla in doubles to win 8-0. Steiner continued that streak in the loss at Neumann, winning 8-0 in doubles once again and then dropped just three games in a 6-1, 6-2 win at the No. 1 singles spot.
