Head Coach Tim Neiman is entering his 18th season as the skipper of the DeSales University baseball program after taking over in 1990.

Since Neiman has arrived in Center Valley, PA, the Bulldogs have won 423 games including 30+ games four times and have amassed a 423-221-3 (.656) overall record. Neiman enters the season ranked 35th among all active NCAA Division III coaches in winning percentage (.656) and 36th in total wins (423). He is also the only coach in DeSales history to win 400+ games in any sport.

The 2003 season is one Neiman will never forget and remains as his best season as a coach. He guided his Bulldogs to their third consecutive 30-win season, to their fourth consecutive Freedom Conference Championship, to their sixth NCAA Tournament, and ultimately to the program’s first-ever NCAA Division III College World Series in Appleton, WI, after winning the 2003 NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship. DSU finished with a 30-14 overall record, ranked #8 in the country and produced its second National All-American as sophomore Ian Hauze was named to the First-Team at shortstop.

Overall, Neiman has been named Coach of the Year eight different times in 16 years including twice in the ESAC Conference (1992, ‘93), once in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC - 1997) and five times in the MAC/Freedom Conference (1998, ‘01, ‘03, ‘04 and ‘05). The American Baseball Coaches Association also honored Neiman as the Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year in 2003. His teams have won four ECAC South Region Championships (1993, ‘94, ‘97, ‘00), nine Conference Championships (ESAC – 1994, PAC – 1996, ‘97, MAC/Freedom – 1998, ‘00, ‘01, ‘02, ‘03, ’04 and ‘05), made eight trips to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament, and advanced to one NCAA Division III College World Series in 2003.

Prior to arriving at DSU Neiman was a very successful American Legion coach at Quakertown (PA). In his six seasons with that squad, Quakertown was 135-67, won two league championships and one regional title. In August of 1995, Neiman was inducted into the Pennsylvania American Legion Hall of Fame. He has also had coaching stints with Kutztown University as an assistant and the Quakertown Blazers of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League

Along with his coaching duties Coach Neiman has served on numerous committees. He has served as the chair for the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Region Baseball Championships Committee and also as the chair for the Middle Atlantic Conferences Baseball Committee. Other committees include; the board of trustees at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quakertown, the board of directors for the Pennridge-Quakertown Sports Hall of Fame and the Upper Saucon Township Parks and Recreation committee. He is currently a member of the Upper Saucon Township Zoning Hearing Board and Rotary International as well as a member of the Board of Directors for the Miracle League.

In addition, Neiman is also the director of the DeSales Baseball Camps and runs a series of popular camps and clinics for players and coaches throughout the year. He also serves DeSales as the Director of Athletic Development for the school’s entire 16-sport NCAA Division III athletics program.

Coach Neiman resides in Center Valley, PA, with his wife Rosanne. They are the proud parents of four children, Jason, Kristy, Nolan and Deron (Doc) and two grandchildren, Carli and Caitlyn.
