Wilkes-Barre, PA, (October 20, 2004) – The DeSales University volleyball team continued to road woes as they fell at Wilkes University, 3-1 (30-13, 31-29, 30-26), in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening at the Marts Center.
Freshman Allie Boyer (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) and senior Michelle Piel (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) each tallied six kills and 12 digs to lead the attack. Junior Colleen Arthur (Ridley Park, PA/Cardinal O’Hara) totaled 21 digs in the loss.
DeSales returns to action on Tuesday as they host the University of Scranton in a Freedom Conference match beginning and the last home match of the season at 7:00 pm.
