Selinsgrove, PA, (October 23, 2004) – The DeSales University men’s soccer team dropped its second straight game on Saturday afternoon as the Bulldogs fell at Susquehanna University 2-1 in non-conference action.

After the Crusaders had taken a 1-0 lead with a goal 9:15 into the game senior John Rennie (Cape May Court House, NJ/Middle Township) scored an unassisted goal at the 29:51 mark of the first half to tie the game at one.  Susquehanna answered with its second goal and the eventual game-winner just 3:48 later and that was the end of the scoring in the game.

Freshman Tigh Savercool (Millerstown, PA/Greenwood) made six saves in between the pipes for DeSales as the Bulldogs were out-shot, 17-9, in the loss.

DeSales plays its fifth straight road game on Monday as they travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College for a non-conference game beginning at 3:30 pm.
