Aston, PA, (October 28, 2004) – The DeSales University volleyball team ended its 2004 season with a 3-1 (26-30, 30-28, 30-15, 30-20) loss at Neumann College on Thursday evening in non-conference action.

 

        The loss is the fourth straight for DSU who ends the season with an 8-20 overall record.  Senior Michelle Piel (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) led the attack with 13 kills and a team-high 18 digs in her last career match.  Freshman Allie Boyer (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) added 12 kills and 17 digs and sophomore Janna Sheckler (Lehighton, PA/Lehighton) tallied 13 kills and six blocks.
