Madison, NJ, (October 7, 2004) – The DeSales University women’s soccer team suffered its fourth straight defeat falling at FDU-Florham, 2-0, in Freedom Conference action on Thursday afternoon.

 

        The Bulldogs (3-8-1, 0-4 Freedom) were out-shot 28-6 in the game but found themselves in a scoreless tie until the Devils broke it open with the eventual game-winner at the 68:03 mark by Jessica Novy and the insurance marker just nine minutes later by Meghan Griswold.

 

        Sophomore Kelly Hinkle (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) made 10 saves in between the pipes for the Bulldogs.

 

        DSU returns to action on Saturday as they travel down to Hood College for a non-conference game beginning at 1:00 pm.
