Reading, PA, (September 27, 2004) – The DeSales University women’s soccer team fell to Alvernia College, 2-1, in non-conference action on Monday afternoon.

 

        Freshman Kelly DiFrancesco (Blairstown, NJ/Pope John XXIII Regional) scored the Bulldogs’ lone goal at the 69:46 mark of the second half.  It was DiFrancesco’s first career marker.  Sophomore Kelly Hinkle (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) made nine saves in between the pipes for DSU.

 

        The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday as they return home to face Drew University in a Freedom Conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
