Williamsport, PA, (September 28, 2004) – The DeSales University volleyball team lost for the second time in Freedom Conference play this season as the Bulldogs fell to Lycoming College, 3-0 (30-23, 30-24, 30-22), on Tuesday evening.

 

        The Bulldogs (4-12 overall, 0-2 Freedom) were led by sophomore Janna Sheckler (Lehighton, PA/Lehighton), who tallied a team-high 11 kills.  Freshman Allie Boyer (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) added seven kills and nine digs and senior Michelle Piel (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville Area) recorded a team-high 13 digs.

 

        The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday as they host Ursinus College in a non-conference match beginning at 7:00 pm.
