Center Valley, PA, (January 22, 2005) – Senior Gina Lucrezi (Pen Argyl, PA/Bangor) and the DeSales University women’s track and field team began its indoor track and field season at the Susquehanna University Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

 

        Lucrezi looked to be in mid-season form as she provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships in the 5,000-meters with a Susquehanna field house record time of 17:40.64.  The time is also the fastest ever for Lucrezi in the 5,000-meters and is a school record at DeSales.  Her time is currently ranked third in the country.
