Selinsgrove, PA, (February 18, 2005) – The DeSales University women’s track and field competed at the Susquehanna University Invitational as a tune up for the MAC Indoor Championships being held next weekend.

 

        Among the top finishers were senior Gina Lucrezi (Pen Argyl, PA/Bangor) who took seventh in the 400-meter dash (1:03.77) and third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.36.  Sophomore Eileen Lavelle (Tarrytown, NY/Sleepy Hollow) had an excellent showing taking sixth place in the 55-meter dash in a time of 7.70 in the qualifying heat and 7.82 in the final.
