Center Valley, PA, (March 19, 2005) – The DeSales University men’s tennis team won its second straight match to start the season with a 4-3 win over Cabrini College in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

 

        DSU earned the doubles point as junior Michael Almazan (Allentown, PA/Parkland) and senior Bill Neal (Lehighton, PA/Marian Catholic) won at the No. 1 position, 8-1, and freshmen RJ Conner (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) and Scott Davis (Wayne, PA/Archbishop Carroll) won at the No. 3 position, 8-3.

 

        In singles Almazan defeated Jack Keller, 6-0, 6-3, Connor won at the No. 5 position, 6-1, 2-6, 6-1 and Davis earned the final point at the No. 6 position, 6-4, 6-4.
