Center Valley, PA, (March 31, 2005) – The DeSales University men’s tennis team lost its first match of the season on Thursday afternoon, 5-2, to Freedom Conference foe Drew University.

 

        The loss drops the Bulldogs to 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the Freedom Conference.  Junior Michael Almazan (Allentown, PA/Parkland) and senior Bill Neal (Lehighton, PA/Marian Catholic) each won in singles play to earn the two points.  Almazan won at the No. 1 position, 6-1, 6-3 and Neal won at the No. 2 spot, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).
