Eustace Scores Twice, Bulldogs cruise past Cedar Crest, 5-0

Sophomore Dana Eustace scored twice to move into eighth place on the all-time scoring list on Wednesday.
 
Allentown, PA (September 30, 2006) – Sophomore Dana Eustace (Highland Lakes, NJ/Vernon Township) scored two goals to lead the DeSales University women’s soccer team past Cedar Crest College, 5-0, in a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon.
 
        Eustace’ two goals move her into eighth place all-time with 23 career points.  She now has 11 goals and one assist in her career.  She started the scoring at the 10:20 mark off an assist from fellow sophomore Katie Dishman (Nazareth, PA/Pen Argyl).  Dishman made it 2-0 off an assist from freshman Emily LaDuke (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) at the 15:00 minute mark and that score stood at the half.
 
        In the second half, LaDuke scored off a free kick, Eustace tallied her second of the game at 60:44 off a feed from sophomore Jessica Baker (Churchville, PA/St. Basil Academy) and senior Lindsey Cullather (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Nativity BVM) scored off an assist from freshman Gina Locke (Gardner, MA/Gardner) at 68:19 to post the final tally.
 
        Senior Kelly Hinkle (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) made two saves to record her second shutout of the season and the 13th of her career.  The Bulldogs (4-7 overall) out-shot the Falcons (2-10-1 overall), 20-2, in the game.

          DSU returns to action on Saturday when they play host to The University of Scranton in a Freedom Conference game beginning at 1:00 pm.
