Radnor, PA, (March 11, 2006) – The DeSales University men’s tennis team opened the 2006 season with a 7-0 loss to Cabrini College on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
The Bulldogs featured a lineup consisting of five freshmen and sophomores and just two returning players to start the season. Junior Antony May (Lowell, MA/Lowell Catholic) took the loss at the No. 1 position, 6-0, 6-0 and sophomore Ernie Justice (Blue Ball, PA/Garden Spot) suffered a loss at the No. 2 spot, 6-0, 6-1.
The Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday, March 21st when they travel to Drew University for a Freedom Conference match scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm.
