Madison, NJ (April 26, 2006) – The DeSales University men’s lacrosse suffered its sixth straight loss losing at Drew University, 15-3, in MAC Conference action.
The Bulldogs (1-13, 0-9 MAC) fell behind early, 6-1 after one period and 10-2 at the half and were never able to recover. Drew improves to 7-6 overall and 6-3 in the MAC with the win.
Sophomore Dan Thomer (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan), freshman Joshua Van Hart (Glen Gardner, NJ/Voorhees) and sophomore Andy Petack (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) scored the three DSU goals and senior Chris Laveglia (Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee) added an assist.
Junior Ben Conroy (Easton, PA/Moravian Academy) had eight saves in the loss and fellow junior Jon-Erik Stamatelos (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) had a team-high 10 ground balls for the Bulldogs.
DSU returns to action on Saturday, April 29th when they host Messiah College in an MAC Conference game and the final game of the season for the Bulldogs beginning at 2:00 pm.
