Hoover Wins Third of Season, Men’s Tennis loses 6-1 to Moravian

Freshman Jake Hoover won his third match of the season on Wednesday afternoon in the loss to Moravian College.

Center Valley, PA, (April 26, 2006) – The DeSales University men’s tennis dropped another non-conference match, falling to local rival Moravian College, 6-1, on Wednesday afternoon.

Freshman Jake Hoover (Morrisville, PA/Notre Dame) improved to 3-5 on the year as he bested Sean Lynch of Moravian, 7-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4) at the No. 3 singles spot.

The Bulldogs return to action on Friday, April 28^th when they host King’s College in the completion of its match earlier this season beginning at 3:00 pm.
