Center Valley, PA (September 12, 2006) – The DeSales University volleyball team saw its three match winning streak snapped on Tuesday evening falling to The University of Scranton, 3-0 (30-17, 30-28, 30-21), in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams.

 

        A pair of freshmen, Jen Mellon (Media, PA/Penncrest) and Kerri Andrews (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic), played well in the loss for the Bulldogs.  Mellon totaled a team-high 10 kills and had one block assist, while Andrews tallied eight kills and a team-high nine digs.
