Women’s Tennis Loses for first time, 8-1, at Wilkes

Sophomore Caitlin Gerlach was the lone winner for DSU on Saturday afternoon at Wilkes.
 
Wilkes-Barre, PA, (September 16, 2006) – The DeSales University women’s tennis team dropped its first match of the season falling at Wilkes University, 8-1, in a Freedom Conference match on Saturday afternoon.
 
        Sophomore Caitlin Gerlach (Oak Ridge, NJ/West Milford) was the lone winner for the Bulldogs on the afternoon.  Gerlach defeated Jotanna O’Connell, 7-5, 6-3 at the No. 5 singles position.

        The Bulldogs will return to action on Monday, September 18th when they travel to Immaculata University for a non-conference match beginning at 4:00 pm.
