Madison, NJ (October 20, 2007) – The DeSales University field hockey team fell in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon, 4-0, at FDU-Florham.
The Devils (11-5, 4-0 Freedom) scored three first-half goals and never really looked back in topping DeSales. The loss drops the Bulldogs to 7-9 overall and 2-2 in the Freedom entering the last week of the regular season.
FDU out-shot DeSales, 15-6, as sophomore Molly Pope (Elkridge, MD/Long Reach) totaled five saves in the loss.
DSU will look to rebound from the loss on Tuesday, October 23rd when they travel to Wilkes University for a Freedom Conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
