Mens Soccer Unbeaten in Three Straight with 2-0 Win over Keystone

Sophomore Dustin Sturm scored his second goal of the season in the 2-0 win over Keystone College.

La Plume, PA (September 26, 2007) – The DeSales University men's soccer moved its unbeaten streak to three straight with a 2-0 win over Keystone College on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference game in La Plume, PA.
 
        The Bulldogs held a 15-6 edge in shots and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks in the game. The game was tied at the half before the Bulldogs struck quickly in the second half as sophomore Dustin Sturm (North Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May) got DSU on the board with his second goal of the season off an assist from senior Daniel Jones (Ronks, PA/Pequea Valley) at the 46:57 mark.
 
        Junior German Reyes (Beach Lake, PA/Honesdale) added an insurance goal just five minutes later as Sturm earned an assist when his throw-in was flicked on by senior Antony May (Philadelphia, PA/Lowell Cathlic [MA]) to Reyes who put away his second goal of the season.
 
        Senior Rusty Riedmiller (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) had two more saves giving him 231 career saves and moving him into a tie for first-place all-time on the saves list while his shutout is the 17th of his career and moves him into sole possession of first place all-time. His next save will make him the all-time leader in saves and shutouts at DeSales and he entered the season as the all-time leader in save percentage and goals against average.

         The Bulldogs will return home and to action on Saturday, September 29th when they host Widener University in a non-conference game beginning at 3:00 pm.
