Radnor, PA (September 5, 2007) – The DeSales University men's soccer team suffered its third straight loss to start the 2007 season falling to Cabrini College, 1-0, in overtime in a non-conference game on Wednesday evening.
The game-winner came off the foot of Barry Magagna on an assist from Jason Moran at the 97:44 mark of the first overtime. Cabrini out-shot DeSales, 11-4, in the win.
Senior Rusty Riedmiller (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) made seven stops for the Bulldogs as compared to just one save for the Cavaliers' Bryan Johnson.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday when they travel to the Citrano Medical Labs Kickoff Classic at Johns Hopkins University to take on Buffalo State College in the first game beginning at 5:00 pm.
