Mens Tennis drops Freedom Conference Opener, 9-0, to Manhattanville

Center Valley, PA (March 25, 2008) – The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped its Freedom Conference season opener, 9-0, to conference newcomer Manhattanville College on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman Anthony Guerriero (Warren, NJ/Watchung Hills) played well despite the loss teaming with sophomore Charles Marriner (Cape May Court House, NJ/Middle Township) at the No. 3 doubles spot and losing 8-4. Guerriero also fell in singles by a 6-0, 6-2 margin.

The Bulldogs will look to return to the win column on Saturday when they take to the road for the first time this season traveling to Arcadia University for a Freedom Conference match beginning at 1:00 pm.
