Doylestown, PA (October 23, 2010) – The DeSales University women's soccer team was unable to hang onto a 1-0 halftime advantage, falling to Delaware Valley College, 2-1, in Freedom Conference action on a gorgeous Fall afternoon on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (5-11-1, 0-5-1 Freedom) took that first-half lead at the 11:19 mark when freshman Brady Walsh (Leesport, PA/Schuylkill Valley) scored off a free kick, her 14th tally of the season. The DSU defense held the Aggies (5-10-2, 2-3-1 Freedom) to just two shots in the first 45 minutes.

In the second half DVC needed just 6:16 to tie the game as Dana Gentile scored off a cross from Marianne Morton. The game remained tied into the 83rd minute when Morton sent another crossing pass into the box and Sam Loeber scored her first goal of the season on a one-timer from about 12-yards out.

Sophomore Melissa Millili (Deptford, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) made two saves in the loss. DeSales returns to action on Saturday, October 30th when they conclude its 2010 season on the road at King's College beginning at Noon.
