Madison, NJ (September 17, 2011) – Drew University scored twice in the first 7:06 of the game and the DeSales University field hockey team was unable to climb back into the game, falling 3-0 to the Rangers in a non-conference game on Saturday afternoon.

Angela Terracciano scored both of the early goals for the Rangers (4-3) on assists from Brooke Gagliano and Mary Esposito.  DU added its third tally 2:10 into the second half to provide the final margin.

Drew out-shot DeSales (1-4), 18-9, and out cornered the Bulldogs, 16-5.  Junior Victoria DelToro made eight saves in the cage for DSU.

The Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday when they return home to take on Marywood University beginning at 4:00 pm.
