Center Valley, PA (October 9, 2012) – York College erased a one-goal halftime deficit with two goals in the second half, topping the DeSales University field hockey team, 2-1, in a non-conference game on Tuesday afternoon.

	Junior
Sam Lavin gave DSU a 1-0 lead 22:28 into the game, converting a penalty stroke for her first goal of the season.  That lead stood into the half as York enjoyed a 15-8 edge in shots in the opening twenty minutes.

The lead continued to be one 12 minutes into the second half when the Spartans'

Victoria DelToro's pads and into the cage, tying the game at one.

York needed just 2:22 to then take the lead as
